Africa T shirt

I wasn’t going to  post this week but my sweet blogger friend and baby whisperer, Kari Gibson, is selling their Africa t-shirts for a limited time this holiday. They are so cute AND the money for the shirts will go towards the adoption of their second child from Ethiopia. Go here and take a look. Really, so cute!

You just made my day. Thanks for your cheers! I hope Desta is napping sweetly for you today. Keep me posted. I have to tell you our nap disaster yesterday with Zoie… she talked and danced around her crib forever and then the cries turned into “I’m mad get me out of here!!” I checked on her… no poop, but no sleepy baby. I gave her a little nip of milk and things were quite. Then…. REALLY mad cries from my angel:))
I ran up (whew-I needed a nap!) and checked on her again.. she had lodged her foot in this crazy position in her crib slits & got stuck. Picture splits in the air. pooor baby!!
I gut her unstuck & she collapsed for a 3 hr nap. She wore her self out, I guess:))
    Hang in there!!
    Kari

About Me

I was born in Jos, Nigeria many years ago. I spent the next nineteen years living in Liberia, Kenya (I have some good boarding school stories for you!) and Ethiopia. This blog began as a way to chronicle the journey to getting our third daughter through adoption. I have found that since I began writing, this blog has become a place for community, support and a safe place to share about my LIFE as a whole. So here are my words on running, gluten-free cooking, mothering, crafting (ha!) and adoption; the good, the bad and the ugly.
